We wanted to take a moment to address the speed of our site lately.
When we launched the company two and a half years ago, we thought more traffic would be the key to our success – now, it seems, we’ve outgrown our own success.
Our original servers have served us well (no pun intended), but an increasing amount of user traffic and trades has affected the performance of the site. You may have noticed lately that our site isn’t loading as quickly, or that your download takes longer than usual.
We’re receiving several million contacts a month in our trade solution (link) which are auto-cleaned. Half a million new contacts are validated and available to our community each month. While that cleaning process is integral to our quality control, the significantly increased volume has put a strain on our servers.
We've got good news in this regard- new servers will be deployed within the next 2 weeks.
